Spell By Pictures!

Children love drawing as well as colouring. Why don’t we take adantage it toward learning.

When early grades students learn about Englsih  alphabet, we may ask for your students  to spell their names by using pictures. Draw the things that represent student’s name letters

Can you guess what the student’s name is?


Yes, That’s Right! The name of student is DAVID

You know why? because the pictures tell us.

    I just want to say that you are a creative person, Mrs..
    But i have a little suggestion for you, Mrs.. Why don’t you make a music for this material form your own voice?
    I think, it would be more fun for the class.

    Thank u ms for your information…
    that method gives me a new inspiration for teaching. Full color picture is very good for taking students’ attention. So, it will be easier me for teaching 🙂 and the end, there is a student’s name. It will be more interest again 🙂

    So creative method..
    Basicly a young learners like a pictures.. And I think this is a suitable method for them…It’s can make them easier to understand the subject.

    I haven’t even though about this technique.
    Sure it will make the children interested and usually be remembered because it has their name in it.
    Even me and other adult will remember something related to their name more than other things, children will do more.

    of course this way is good and right way to teach children about the spelling because kids love the image or pictures and colors. so, using media such as pictures, the children will be more interesting and easier to learn English spelling.
